I cannot afford to buy woodworking plans. If there is anyone who would want to share plans or tell me where I can find free woodworking plans…it would be very nice.
Thank You
My Grandpa is over and he likes to watch the workshop/ woodworking programs where people put things together (bench, cabinet, bed frame etc.) and go through the steps with you. Anybody know of any channels that host something like these programs?
Anyone know where I can get free (OK I’m cheap) woodworking plans online for making various pieces of furniture?
Thanks.
I want a bed like this but I don’t have a history of woodworking. How hard would it be for a beginner to build a bed like this, or maybe one a little scaled down?

Also, what kind of wood would I buy? And hardware?
This dawned on me today. All my life I have been better at theory side of things. IE, At school for example in my woodworking GCSE’s I was awful as making anything, However I passed it purely on the high level of my written coursework. Same at art, I can’t draw, but I passed that exam also on the high quality of my written coursework. Onto driving, I have failed my practical driving test 4 times!! But passed the theory with almost full marks which is not easy achieved.
Are some people better at theory than practical things in life? If so how do I find a job that’s right for me? While I passed my GCSE’s I decided not to stay on at school so have just floated from dead end job to dead end job, Ironically I am a carpenter which involved no theory at all, it is entirely practical. I don’t fit in, I know that job is not for me, but its all I have done for 9 years and am not happy. Would I be better going to uni and training up for a job based entirely on writing/theory etc
I need another easy plan for my class. I’ve already made a footstool and a baseball plaque w/shelf.
Please list the website.
I am looking to learn woodworking and am thus looking for a good woodworking book to build chairs, shelves, beds, etc … featuring enough woodworking plans and projects; would you please help me ?
Could anyone help me find woodworking plans for a tea chest? I want to build one for my girlfriend for Christmas, but I can’t find them anywhere! I’ve checked magazines and searched online. If anyone can help me out, it would be much appreciated!
Im looking to make it from scratch, so plans with a pre-made wooden chest aren’t that helpful.
I want to build a few bits and pieces for the house. Unfortunately I don’t have all the tools I need to build the stuff I want and I won’t be building enough to justify buying the stuff I need. Are there places in the UK where I can bring my materials and use their tools? How would I go about finding one in my area (near Bicester, Oxfordshire)?
